Established in 2002, Castaways began as a coastal dining experience set high above the Tasman Sea. The venue served as a restaurant and as a private venue for special events such as weddings and conferences.
To cater for private dining guests and an increasing demand for weddings and conferences, in 2007 the Castaways venue became a dedicated functions and events centre and a new restaurant, "Agave" was purpose built as Castaways a-la-carte restaurant.
