The City of Rivers now has its very own Lone Star restaurant, situated in the former Gordon Gecko site at 60 The Esplanade, Shed One, in the Inner Harbour. Owners Brendan Hiini and Craig Mckenzie are delighted with the response of the people of Gisborne and at how quickly they have embraced the Lone Star restaurant. It is already proving to be a worthy addition to the community.

The Gisborne restaurant comfortably seats 80 guests, and a further 60 can be catered for in  a private function room. The bar has been extensively refurbished, offering 9 beers on tap, a fine selection of bottled beer, cider, non-alcoholic beverages, legendary Lone Star cocktails and an interesting wine list with offerings from all over New Zealand, many served by the glass. The sun-drenched deck has a spectacular view of the beautiful marina - you can dine el-fresco too, and it is a wonderful place to enjoy a drink and a yarn after work in the Gissy heat.. It's a wonderful Lone Star in a most picturesque of settings, and Brendan and his team look forward to hosting you in beautiful Gisborne soon.
