A new and exciting addition to the burgeoning Café scene in Petone is The Lone Star Café and Bar, situated on the corner of Buick and Jackson Street, right beside the Te Puna Wai Ora fountain. The Petone restaurant can comfortably cater for up to 190 guests, including a private function room which can accommodate around 40 people for more. The spacious bar, which has 5 plasma screens, is a relaxing place to enjoy a pre and after- dinner drink. An interesting feature of the bar is a “Heroes Wall” which reflects Petone’s and Wellington’s prolific sporting heritage. The menu reflects an eclectic mix of all the Lone Star favourites and delicious new innovations and as is the case in every Lone Star restaurant, children are most welcome and have their own menu to choose from.
