Comments: Service is really bad when you order line it gives you a pick up time, its never ready its usally another 45minutes away. When you arrive they can never find your order . No appologies as to why your order is not ready. Food is average.

Comments: I came on Thursday 12 July 2018 with my wife to the restaurant and I found out the food was very good.i asked the waiter who is the chef his name was diwaker may be spelll the name wrong but any way the food was good.i would like other guest to try this food and I am recommend others friends of my to go and have food. Good job guys you guys deserve it.

Comments: The 153rd instalment of the Wellington Curry Club saw 13 intrepid spice lovers making for one of Kelburn's longer lasting eateries - Yellow Chilli. We have been here before and not been disappointed, so expectations were high. Within a few minutes of seating warmed side plates were produced and the four shared starters came out. All were from the tandoor and all were excellent, with the star of the show the paneer tikka - simply superb! Onto the mains with two gurus opting for the tandoori grill over the usual sauce based curries. Again, our expectations were fully met and in some cases exceeded. The balance of flavours with heat was excellent and really appreciated by all, with the tasting vindaloos hot and spicy. Service was superb, food uniformly excellent, plates warm, great atmosphere and we were made to feel very welcome by Gopal and Daisy. Score 9.25 and worth a visit by all.

Comments: They've done it again! My brother and his wife had arrived from their international holiday and were tired but hungry. We suggested Yellow Chilli and they followd our lead. As always, the food and service was wonderful and they said it was by far and away the best Indian meal they'd eaten in years, anywhere. Congratulations Gopal, your team did us proud on our special night out!

Comments: Yellow Chilli is the most outstanding Indian restaurant by far in Wellington!! Not only is the food superb but their service is exemplary; nothing is too much trouble for the team there. The dining room has a lovely atmosphere and nicely avoids the often overused Indian stereotypes. Cannot recommend Yellow Chilli enough and will abandon all the others and keep going back there. Nice work Gopal and his great team.

Comments: So delicious! And so much food! One curry with rice and naan has done me more than two meals. The curry was full of heaps of paneer, I won't go anywhere else now!

Comments: Awesome food and great service. Curries were nice and spicy and the Onion Bhaji was excellent. Only disappointment was the $40 minimum order for delivery.
